Pink Accounting Resources Limited was originally established in 1983 by Sue McAuley. She was approached by a friend who had experienced great difficulty in finding a reliable bookkeeper for their family business. Being a Mum with three children under 2, Sue knew that careful planning and effective use of her time was the key to this. Guided by her Father, a director of Barclays Bank, she received excellent advice and encouragement on the business aspect and soon mastered the art of combining all of these duties.

This was the beginning of Pink, and very soon the word was out. Sue gained more clients, impressed by Sue’s work ethic and approach. Pink doubled in personnel and production line of manual accounts being prepared was in full swing. The advent of Sage Computerised Accounts was greeted with great enthusiasm and some relief!

Sue quickly discovered that there was a real gap in the marketplace for a cost effective and professional bookkeeping and management accounting consultancy. Business grew quickly by word of mouth, and in1985 Pink moved into their first office in Old Windsor.

Over the years Pink has built its own excellent reputation and grown from strength to strength in the services that it can now offer. As Pink continued its expansion, bigger offices were needed. We moved to Marlow in 2003 which has proved to be an excellent base for our business. Our Recruitment Division was founded in 2003 and is now a respected and well established name in the market place. This is a specialist consultancy which is totally dedicated to sourcing the finance and accountancy personnel to match our clients requirements.
