
Tony qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1977 and, over the last 30 or so years, has been involved at top level with a variety of small, medium and large businesses in fields as diverse as market research, advertising, publishing, sales and marketing, retailing and Information Technology.
In January 2002, after five years working for the Elcom group of companies, he led a management buy-out of its IT reseller business in the UK, to form Elcom Information Technology Limited. With Tony as MD as well as FD, he and three partners ran the business for four years, before successfully selling out to a group of private investors in January 2006.
Tony now combines holding a number of non-executive and part-time FD positions, with being a consultant to Pink, where he uses his wide commercial experience to add value to clients considering mergers and acquisitions, raising money through loan or share issues or just increasing profitability through restructuring.

Being in the country but having London just a few miles away.

The personal computer, as I’m old enough to remember what we had to go through to prepare accounts before it was invented.
